My Plot Outline

Kings in power at the time:
• Mohammed Shah, b. 1702, ruler from 1719-1720, 1720-1748, d. April 26, 1748 in Delhi.
• Ahmad Shah Bahadur, b. 1725, ruler from 1748-1754, d. January 1775 in Delhi.
• Alamgir II, b. 1699, ruler from 1754-1759, d. 1759.


Conflicts
External: The war between the french and the british is going on and the political status in India is a little shakey. The British and Indian people are starting to get along but some political leaders have yet to make up.

Internal: The emporer of india is contemplating weather to risk everything and assasin the commander of the british army or risk losing nothing but let the man who might make him lose all his power by contradicting him always.


Exposition: There has been a war between British and French and the British finally took over. The kings are constantly switching because of the British.

Rising Conflict: The British commander contradicts the emperor and he gets mad about that. That is just the beginning of the conflict between the two. The commander try’s to kick the king out and get someone who agrees with everything he says. Also somebody who the commander can feed info to and they won’t contradict him. Leading to the idea of assassinating the commander and getting him out of power when the commander has the same idea.


Climax: When the people who the two hired to kill each other are actually going out with the plan. Then the two who did the assassinations go to jail and get freed but they didn’t actually kill them.
Falling Action: They didn’t end up killing the other but the two in power don’t know that. They meet somewhere without knowing the other is there and then they sit for tea and try to kill each other in their drinks.

Resolution: In the end they both end up dying they made a little war between the two and the king ended up dueling the commander but the commander was playing dirty and poisoned the kings water that he drank right before the dual or his handkerchief(something along those lines).
